云美术馆欣然宣布即将于2023年1月1日推出年度重磅展览“动物园对面的游乐场”，此次展览由东门杨担任策展人，邀请了雕塑家娜布其，画家陈可、苗妙、孙一钿、王晓曲、温凌、武晨、烟囱，这八位在当代艺术领域十分活跃的优秀青年艺术家参展。展览基于一加七的结构，由一位雕塑家的大型游乐互动式装置，串联起七位画家幽默跳脱、风格各异却彼此呼应的作品。通过轻松、直接、参与式、互动性的艺术创作的勾连组合，营造出一种带温度的场域，将艺术体验融入自在、日常的感知。
将“动物园和游乐场”这两个天真的隐喻搬进美术馆，就像将美术馆植入时间之外的乐园，场景虽变换，游戏规则却暗自相承。如同在动物园与动物的真切接触、在游乐场与伙伴的亲密互动，美术馆似乎改变了某种既定功能，人们流连其中，在艺术作品合力渲染的氛围里，或嬉耍休闲，或漫步冥想。
同期推出的同名故事书构成展览的一个重要组成部分。这里的文字不再是对参展作品的理论阐释，它自成一体，以童话故事的形式与展览平行发生。故事中所描绘的人与世界、与兽类之间的关系，是展览的另一幅肖像，也可视为具象作品在叙事和符号层面的推进与延伸。为配合美术馆的社区特性，展览还将邀请艺术家刘符洁、李永庚在展览开幕后进行接力式驻留，在展览驻留中进行田野观察，与社区居民互动交流。
本次展览持续至2023年3月7号。期间，云美术馆将持续举办相关公共教育活动，以多元化的形式带领大家游历展览中层叠映衬的城市乐园空间。
